BIOGRAPHY

Sheridan Miyamoto is an Assistant Professor in the College of Nursing at Pennsylvania State University. Her research interests include: telehealth to improve forensic care for children, adolescents, and adults in rural communities; identification and prevention of human trafficking among child welfare-involved youth; using administrative databases and predictive tools to identify families at risk for child maltreatment; and the use of nurse health coaching and mobile technologies to promote positive health behaviors.
