BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Daniel Busso is a psychologist and researcher at the FrameWorks Institute. His past research used cross-disciplinary approaches to explore the social determinants of mental illness in children and adolescents. He focused on emotional, cognitive, and neurobiological mechanisms that underlie the association between childhood maltreatment and child and adolescent mental disorders. Earlier, Dr. Busso worked as a secondary school teacher in the United Kingdom and as an educational consultant in Uganda and the United States. He holds a BSc in psychology from the University of Bath, England, an MSc in cognitive science from University College London, and master’s and doctoral degrees in human development from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
